• Supported Accommodation: Safe, homely spaces for at-risk individuals with complex needs like addiction or mental health – staff on-site 24/7, CCTV security, and partnerships with NHS, food banks, and Eden Project for holistic recovery. Features like the Harbour farm (with llamas, chickens, pigs) build routine and skills.​
• Outreach: In-home support for vulnerably housed people to sustain tenancies and prevent eviction.​
• EVA Project (Empowered, Valued, Aware): Specialist refuge for women fleeing domestic abuse or sexual violence.​
• Hospital Discharge: Tailored housing to stop patients at risk of rough sleeping post-release.​
• STAR Project: Short-term intensive support for rough sleepers, transitioning to permanent homes.​
• Cold Weather Provision: Seasonal winter shelters with interventions for street homelessness.​
• Naloxone Program: Life-saving opioid overdose reversal, now standard in all properties.​

These efforts delivered hundreds of acceptances, referrals, and move-ons, and over 600+ engagement hours just recently – real progress toward independence.

Their Counsellors, Activity & Volunteer Coordinators and Communications Team all play a vital part in supporting residents and volunteers alike to access opportunities within the local community and our communities. They use the power of informal education to challenge the norm, champion the truth, open up minds and learn about the community around them.

Every day looks different at Harbour but they have a range of pre-planned and ad-hoc activities co-produced by residents on offer across most of our sites, every week.

Winter’s cold nights are softened by the charity’s seasonal shelter initiatives, and lives are saved daily through life-saving naloxone treatments they pioneered in the region.
