PayFast: the local choice for South Africans

PayFast is the local choice for South African organizations. Payments are processed in ZAR (South African Rand) by PayFast, while PayPal payments are processed in US Dollars and must then be converted. For donors, PayFast is a familiar and trusted payment platform, which allows them to make donations without any concerns about security.

PayFast allows your donors to give in multiple ways:

  • Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard)
  • Instant EFT
  • Bitcoin
  • mobicred
  • MasterPass

All payments are made through the PCI-compliant hosted payment form on PayFast’s website.
