Caring Heartline, rooted in Gympie, Queensland, is that spark – a registered NDIS provider and charity crafting “Havens of Hope” on the Sunshine Coast, where disabilities fuel possibilities, not barriers.
They provide short-term respite in a supportive environment surrounded by nature, offering participants meaningful experiences like fishing, surfing, gardening, and animal care – while giving families and carers valuable time to rest and recharge.
Set on seven peaceful acres, Caring Heartline creates a nurturing atmosphere where those they support can grow, relax, and engage with the community through activities tailored to their interests and needs.
The founders, Andrew and Tania, bring lived experience as parents and a steadfast belief in everyone’s right to thrive. Their vision was to create more than a service – they dreamed of a Haven of Hope, where teens and young adults find safety, dignity, and opportunities to learn and participate in the community.
Caring Heartline stands out for its youth-focused, highly personalised approach:
- Wide range of NDIS-supported services including in-home care, community access, personal care, transport, meal preparation, community nursing, and engaging group programs.
- Capacity-building activities designed for practical learning and fun, from petting zoos to pool table sessions, outdoor education, and life skills training.
