Customizing the Donation Receipt Page

Charitable provides a default donation receipt page out of the box, which allows you to get started without doing anything.

Sometimes, you may want to customize the content on this page. You can do this quite easily:

1. In your WordPress dashboard, create a new page (Pages > Add New).
2. You can add any content to the page, but be sure to include the [donation_receipt] shortcode.
3. Next, go to Charitable > Settings and look for the “Donation Receipt Page” setting. From the dropdown, choose the page you just created.
4. Click on Save Changes to update your options.

After doing this, your donation receipt page is a standard WordPress page. You can change the title, add different content before and after the receipt information, and modify the template.
